I replaced a broken Krups Expert Burr Coffee Grinder with a Von Chef burr grinder. I tried every setting with the von chef and I couldn't get a decent coffee from my Aeropress. Not wanting to get a new Krups machine as it always felt and looked fragile. I am so relieved I didn’t and decided to go with the Hario Skerton plus ceramic coffee grinder. The grind is super uniform, which is probably the problem with cheap electric grinders. The coffee it produces from my Aeropress is perfect with no hint of bitterness. I’m so happy and relieved I purchased the Hario.
