2021, our centenary year, saw us launch key new Hario brewing equipment and accessories. After premiering the range at London Coffee Festival, and being nominated for a UK Coffee Award, we’re confident you’re going to love our new Drip Assist. Take a look at one of the highlights of the new releases:

Innovative Hario Drip Assist Set

Innovative Hario Drip Assist Set

This unique new design, that we developed in partnership with World Barista Champion Pete Licata, improves brew consistency by controlling the dispersion pattern and flow rate. Developing on the success of the classic V60 design, this modified version utilises rings of different sizes to distribute the water over the coffee bed in 2 different ways. Creating customised flow rates from the centre to the edges means a uniquely delicious coffee and a whole new range of possible brewing recipes.

If you want to give carefully controlled brewing a go with the Drip assist, you can purchase the full kit, or just the topper for your existing V60.

Hario Drip Assist Set Features:

Dynamic water flow created by 2 types of hole

There are holes of two different sizes on the Drip-Assist. These help you regulate your pouring speed.

No need for a gooseneck kettle.

No need for a gooseneck kettle.

A gooseneck kettle is not needed as the small drops of water created by Drip-Assist ensure the ideal speed for brewing coffee.

Water flows into the central section when the outer ring is full.

Water flows into the central section when the outer ring is full.

If you pour in too much water, it flows into the central section. You can use this function to help measure your recipe. It also makes the brewing process fool-proof: there’s no way to overwhelm the coffee bed with too much water-flow.
